Enabling Remote Access to LMS V

If you would like LMS V users to have remote access, they will need to whitelist the IP address (IPv4) for their physical location. This page provides information on the steps you need to take to whitelist an IP address and how to get remote access to LMS V.

How to identify the IP address (IPv4) for your physical location

  • You will need to whitelist an IP address before you access VMware Horizon Client or Remote Desktop (“RemoteApp”).

  • Open the internet browser from the physical location you want to connect from.

  • Run a Google search for “What's my IP address?”. Please note that the IP address from your home will be different than the IP address from your office, the airport, or some other location.

  • The search will return the public IP address of your location.

  • Send that IP address to tech@rippe.com along with the LMS V user’s name, firm name, and telephone number in case there are questions. One of our tech representatives will respond by the next business day.

  • After Tech Services has whitelisted the IP address, follow one of the access points below.

How to access VMware Horizon Client from the browser
Go to https://view.rippecloud.com and login with your current credentials.

How to access VMware Horizon Client from the desktop application
Contact your IT Department for instructions on configuring the app properly. 

How to access LMS V from RemoteApp
Go to https://lms.rippecloud.com/rdweb and login with your current credentials.
